The genuineness of their relationship has been questioned nonstop ever since Ben Flajnik popped the question to Courtney Robertson in the season finale of The Bachelor.
So perhaps it wasn’t surprising that the engaged couple decided it was time to jet off on a holiday together.
However even on a Mexican getaway last week, the pair couldn’t leave their troubles behind.

Onlookers at the Hacienda San Angel resort were still scrutinizing the couple’s every move and attempting to get to the bottom of whether or not their romance would stand the test of time.
And according to this week's Life & Style magazine, which is on sale tomorrow, witnesses thought the pair were ‘distracted’ and ‘not overly affectionate’ during their stay.
A source, who allegedly saw the couple taking a walk around the Puerto Vallarta town, told the magazine: ‘When they kissed, it seemed forced. For an engaged couple, they weren’t so lovey-dovey.’

Another informant claimed to Life & Style that the holiday was an opportunity for Ben, 29, and Courtney, 28, to reevaluate see if their relationship could go the distance.
The source said: ‘This was a make-or-break vacation for them. They wanted to spend time together and see whether this whole thing can work.’
During their sun-filled holiday, the pair reportedly received massages and enjoyed a private dinner where they were serenaded by a mariachi band.

Ben and Courtney were also snapped walking hand and hand through their luxury hotel, dressed in skimpy outfits for the warm weather.
Model Courtney wore shorts that were so tiny they were not visible under her white embroidered top.
Meanwhile winemaker Ben showed off his colourful side in purple and blue striped shorts and a green T-shirt.

Despite the controversy surrounding their impending nuptials the pair appear to be doing their best to convince the world that their relationship is real.
According to Us Weekly, Courtney uprooted from Santa Monica and moved into Ben’s San Francisco home earlier this month, which he shares with two roommates.
The magazine alleges that the living situation is temporary and the pair are looking for a place of their own.

And according to an onlooker who watched the pair shift boxes of Courtney’s things together: ‘It was very low-key, as if they had been married for years.’
